Tam - I haven't had a laptop in over two weeks and, honestly, before that I lost all my blog links and just haven't had the time to get them all back.

So...imagine my utter shock and complete joy when I jumped here today and saw that you are pregnant.

I am, my friend, in tears over here. I am SO happy for you!

I wish I could give you a huge big hug.

I'm sorry about the nausea and believe me, I feel your pain. I was really nauseous for the first 15 weeks or so. It was so bad I wished I could throw up and get it over with, but it only got that bad once or twice. Otherwise it was nausea, dizziness and clammy sweats.

I can't remember if you live in the US or Canada, but if you're in Canada there's a drug called Diclectin that you can get that helps cure the nausea and it's been proven to have no negative effects on the baby (Jack being an excellent example of that!).

Don't sweat about the drinking. From what I understand, up until you are around 9 or 10 weeks, the baby is using the yolk sac as it's primary form of sustenance as the placenta and umbilical cord are still forming.

If there's anything I can do for you...ANYTHING... drop me an email, okay?

Again - congrats and I am JUST SO DAMN HAPPY FOR YOU!!
